Our first day of school was August 13th! Austin is in Kindergarten this year and is very excited to be in Mrs. Trish Johnson's class. He already knows a few kids in his class! In fact, his friend Brandon wore the same shirt as Austin on the first day of school!
Avery loved her first day of school. She is now in 2nd grade and she was the very first Star Student in her class. That meant she was able to be the teachers helper, line leader, and read the joke of the day off of a laughy taffy!
Addie was sad to see the kids go, but it was a nice break for mommy! It still took me a week to get the house back in order from the summer fun!
Addie's favorite day of the week is Tuesday. This is the day that Addie gets to go to school and be with her best friends. Her teachers name in Miss Nadine, and she says it soooo cute! Everyday she asks if she gets to go to school that day! She loves her Dora lunch bag and her purple sippie cup... and she has to carry them and her blanket to class all by herself! She is very independent.
