Not long after we got back from St. George, the 3rd graders put on their Oklahoma Land Run.
I'm glad Ethan and Laynie decided to go, it was a good distraction and helped them want to be at school.
These girls are such great friends! Addie has really been blessed with neighbors who are sweet and her age. And luckily they always let Ashton play with them as well! (Laynie Hansen, Macy Atterberry, Addison John)
Off they go! Addison's "family" was a BOOMER so they waited for the gun to sound before they went to claim their land.
They put the kids into families and some leave "sooner" and some wait for the "boomer". They had a great time. It was good to be back home and let the kids just have fun.
