Both Avery and Austin are still playing soccer. Its so fun to see how much they change each season. Avery has become quite the player. She has a great foot on her and has made some beautiful goals. She is really good at passing and staying spread out from other girls on her team and letting them know when she is open. She mainly plays offense. We are very proud of how well she is doing.
Avery is on the Flames again this season. They have won quite a few games, but they have less girls this year so they have really had to work on endurance. Avery still gets a dollar for every goal she scores, and she is doing a good job at cleaning out daddy's wallet!
Austin has gotten so much better! He really knows how to move the ball around. He hustles all the time and has some fast little legs! He is still a lot shorter than most of the other boys, but keeps up and even passes a lot of them in running drills.
Austin is on the Green Giants again. All their games are at 4pm or 5pm, so that's the hardest part. Many times he is so tired but once he gets going he is fine. In fact, he has scored several goals and is doing his share of cleaning out dad's wallet as well! He does great at offense but is an amazing defensive player.
