Ashton in her Bumbo

 

I discovered the Bumbo right after Addie had learned to sit up by herself, so I was quite excited to be able to use it with Ashton! I LOVE it... and so does she!

 

We just started using it a little bit. As you can tell, her head is still a little wobbly! But she loves sitting up and watching me fold laundry or do dishes, etc. That is until she has had enough and just wants to be held! Ashton is 10 weeks old now!

First Day of School!!

 

Our first day of school was August 13th! Austin is in Kindergarten this year and is very excited to be in Mrs. Trish Johnson's class. He already knows a few kids in his class! In fact, his friend Brandon wore the same shirt as Austin on the first day of school!

 

Avery loved her first day of school. She is now in 2nd grade and she was the very first Star Student in her class. That meant she was able to be the teachers helper, line leader, and read the joke of the day off of a laughy taffy!

 

Addie was sad to see the kids go, but it was a nice break for mommy! It still took me a week to get the house back in order from the summer fun!

 

Addie's favorite day of the week is Tuesday. This is the day that Addie gets to go to school and be with her best friends. Her teachers name in Miss Nadine, and she says it soooo cute! Everyday she asks if she gets to go to school that day! She loves her Dora lunch bag and her purple sippie cup... and she has to carry them and her blanket to class all by herself! She is very independent.

Addie's 2nd birthday

 

I decided to change my pictures here because I couldn't see the other ones very good. Anyway, we started off the day at the donut shop of course! Randy wasn't too thrilled about me and my camera this morning so I didn't get the other kids in the picture, but we were all there!

 

It was a rainy birthday, but we love the summer rain! It was still fun!

Waterpark Fun!

We went to the waterpark up in Independence, KS one last time before school started. It's a lot of fun. It was also the day before Addie's birthday so we used that as our reason for going up!

Jamming John Girls

 

Randy came home from a softball tournament with this sweatbands. The girls loved them! Of course Ashton was indifferent... she had no choice!

 

It isn't easy getting Addie to take pictures, so I felt pretty good about getting these two pictures!

 

Ashton is already becoming just one of the girls! Here she is at 6 weeks. Time flies... and she is getting bigger everyday!

 

Avery wasn't done with the outdoor pictures, she posed for some indoor pics too!

Doesn't she just look adorable! She was so excited to golf with her aunties!

 

Randy told Julie that Avery could only go if she got a cart. Grandpa let Julie use some of his credit to get a cart. Thanks Papa!!

 

Okay, so theses clubs are a little too small!! Avery was actually using Tanners clubs... her clubs are a little bigger!

 

And here Avery is with her Auntie Sara and Auntie Julie! She just loves her aunties! Thanks for taking her out for a fun day!

Ashtons Blessing Day

 

 

 

We had Ashton blessed at our church on July 6th. My mom made her blessing dress. She made all of my kids blessing outfits... and all of the girls had a little piece of my wedding dress material incorporated in their dresses which made it extra special. Thanks for all your time and effort in making this beautiful dress, mom!
