Ricky and Anne took a new job which moved them to Spring, TX. We thought, what better way to spend your spring break than in Spring! And boy were we right! Their backyard is so relaxing! They have a pool, a hot tub and a beautiful lake in the back.
Spring is on the northern side of Houston so it didn't take too long to get there!
We weren't even there long enough to unpack the whole car before the kids were jumping in the pool and hot tub! That's all they needed!
Well, besides spending time with their cousins! I can't believe Tyler is old enough to drive! And look who his sweet sidekick is! My kids have always loved their Tyler and he's always been so sweet to them!
We got the kids out of the pool long enough to do a few other activities. Go-carting is always fun!

The best surprise was Ashley driving up to meet us! She and Scott live in Katy, TX which is about an hour away. How we missed our Petty's!!

We also took the kids to see Cinderella.
And we had so much fun cheering Tyler on in his baseball game! He had the biggest fan section!
Of course evening hot tubbing was a must! Avery and Rachel know how to relax!
Another must was Sky Zone.
These kids dominated on the dodgeball courts. I sure wish Austin and Drew lived closer! They are seriously the best of friends!
Scott was able to come up once he was done with work and we talked them both into staying for the weekend. To celebrate, we all went to TopGolf.

The next day we went to our first Texas State Fair and Rodeo!

After all that fun we went to watch the rodeo. I was a little nervous when the bull riders were out! My favorite part was definitely the mud and busting... which were little kids riding sheep. So cute!!
After all of that we got to watch The Band Perry in Concert.
They were so great! This was Addie and Ashton's first real concert.
As always, the trip went by way too fast! On our way back home we stopped at our new favorite shaved ice place in Dallas, Bahama Bucks! It was a cold day but that didn't stop us! Miss our Houston family and framily already!!
