January Snow Fun!

It's always fun for the kids when Randy gets home... he'll play in the snow with them! I'm first to admit that I'm a wimp and I hate being cold. I go out to take the pictures and run right back inside.


Here is Randy making a fort with the kids. Avery is trying to get a picture with Addie but she doesn't like being told to stay still and smile. I haven't trained her well enough yet!

Randy had me get in for a few pictures. It actually wasn't too cold at this time... but I went back out 5 minutes later and you could tell the temperature was already dropping. I didn't stay out long!

Here is Randy with the kids... they sure love their dad! And this is Austin trying to make a snow angel. I don't think it turned out very good, but it's always fun laying in the snow... when you're a kid!

Avery is trying to start a snowball fight with her dad. I don't think she knows what she is getting herself into! And of course Addie observing everyone. I think this is her first time to actually play in the snow... it was a lot to take in but she loved it!

Snowball Fight!!

January decided to go out with a bang! We woke up this morning to a beautiful snow. Avery has been home sick all week and Austin has been fighting a cold all week... so I kept them both home even though school wasn't canceled. They actually didn't go outside all day until Randy came home from work. Then it was time for the snowball fight!

Addison sat back and observed her brother and sister... then started laughing at what they were doing... and then decided to join in. It's so cute watching her try to stay up with them!

IT"S A GIRL!!!!

Well, it's official. Another little girl is going to join the John family!! We are so excited! She was very active~ she must know she is a fourth child and already working on keeping up with her older sisters and brother. Everything looked great, which is the most important thing. Now we just have to figure out her name....

Outside Fun

We didn't take a whole lot of pictures during Christmas. It was hard enough hauling the kids back and forth... and back and forth. Getting the camera to all of our destinations was the least of my worries. Needless to say- it stayed home most of the time! Avery got a hot pink motorized scooter from Santa this year... and it was hard to get her off! Here is Avery and her cousin Rachel taking turns on the scooter.

I think Randy was excited that Avery got a new scooter so he could take over her old scooter! This is the only picture I got of Austin during the holiday, he was always over at his Grandma and Grandpa John's house because his boy cousins were in town. He doesn't get to play with too many boys on my side of the family!

Addie really does love her scooter from Santa. She is giving me a bad look because I stopped pushing her so I could take a picture. Addie LOVES being outside... she is a goer!!

Here is my sister and her daughter, Sora. I put this picture on here because this is the only picture I had of Austins new green machine from Santa. Like I said, he wasn't home much! It's a fun little bike, but the back wheel fell off and is waiting to be put back on!

Austins Christmas Concert

Austin had his Christmas Concert on Dec. 18th. This is a picture I took before we went in to the Auditorium. He was quite excited... he had been talking about his concert for weeks!

Randy was calling Austin the "ladies man". For a long time, he was the only boy in his row!!

Then it was his turn to go up on stage. He kept watching me because he knew I was taking pictures. Such a good boy!

Now if this isn't a stud pose, I don't know what is! I think he got Randy's "GQ" genes... along with his height!

And one more sweet look from Austin before he started singing! He did such a good job!

I'VE BEEN TAGGED!!!

Okay, I'm pretty new to blogging so I'm not too sure about this "tagging" stuff! Anyway, I'm doing this for you, Nat! I know I'll blow it because I don't know six other people who blog... SORRY!!

1. FACT: I am pregnant. I'm due June 30th and we will find out what we are having Jan 29th!

2. FACT: I HATE forwards! I usually don't even open them... I hope that doesn't hurt anyone's feelings!

3. OBSESSION: I'm obsessed with my blog page and taking pictures! The "taking pictures" is definitely a family trait Randy is always teasing me about. My blog is something I never thought I had time for but now I can't keep myself away! I wish I was more of a computer geek so I could understand all the cool things... but I still have fun!

4. OBSESSION: My other obsession is from my OCD... I LOVE throwing things away. I get in more trouble for that than anything else! Any chance I get I'm getting rid of things... toys, clothes, and especially PAPERS... I hate paper! I want simplicity!!

5. HABIT: Laundry! I know that sounds weird, but the only constant of my week is my laundry. It's top on my list. If I don't do laundry Monday, Wednesday and Friday our house is drowning in clothes. You can always tell how I'm feeling by the amount of laundry there is to do. Lately it's been piling up... did I mention I'm pregnant?

6. HABIT: I wish I could say exercise... hopefully when I'm feeling better! I really don't have a lot of habits. I'm going to have to say... DVR. I don't watch anything that isn't on my DVR! It's the best invention!! Even Randy records his sports and starts watching it an hour or so later so by the time it's over- he's done watching it. It saves so much time!
