ConocoPhillips Christmas Party

We always look forward to Randy's work Christmas parties. They are very crowded... but the kids have so much fun! First things first, we always hit up the photographer before the lines get too long!
As I said, the kids have so much fun here. They always have so many fun things going on. Here is Avery making a Snowman and a Christmas card.
And of course we had to do the face paint!Austin picked a manly skeleton face. The girls stayed with the Christmas theme. Addie and Ashton got these cute reindeers (Addie is modeling hers) and Avery went with a pretty little snowflake.
And Santa always makes a stop! We were going to let each kid get individual pictures with Santa. Ashton started up first, very brave, but got halfway there and realized what she was doing... she turned right back around and started crying! Notice she is on Avery's lap- not Santa's!They also had this cute train with holes that you stuck your hand through and got a treat. I had to put a stop to my kids at this station! They all went through at least two times! A couple of them sneaked a third time... we won't mention but one might be in this picture!
And instead of a bean bag toss, there were snowballs to throw at the snowmen.Alyson Linehan, aka Grammy Alyson is one of the people in charge of the party, which is why it is always soooo great! Randy used to work with Alyson when he was in community relations and we adopted her! We LOVE our Grammy Alyson! Some people even ask if she really is Randy's mom! And after all those fun activities we get to head into the Auditorium for a concert. This year's entertainment....DIAMOND RIO!!!! We had great seats and the kids really enjoyed it! It took Randy and I back to our high school days. It was so great! I forgot just how much I love this group... it made me want to go home and download some songs. What a fun night!
