Last Days in Utah

Our trip to Utah went by way too fast. We went up to the Buttars house on Sunday for dinner. Here is Hallie taking Ashton outside. They looked so cute holding hands. We got to spend some more time with all the Buttars and their dear neighbors, the Simpkins who we just love.

Our last day was Monday. We took the kids up to Magna, UT to visit Randy's grandma. Grandma Cheney had lots of fun toys that Randy's dad played with when he was a little boy. I think the kids thought it was pretty cool to be playing with the same toys... and to think of grandpa as a little boy!

After visiting Grandma Cheney, we headed back to the Geislers for one last day of play! They have a great park right behind their house that the kids love to play at. Here are Addie and Jada! They really bonded and Addie is always wanting to go back up and see her!
They also live walking distance to Gabe's school which has a fun playground too. They all went up there one day during the weekend and came running back home to tell us that they set off the school alarm! I guess Gabe was wanting to show them his classroom and the doors were unlocked but the alarm was on. He felt so bad! Randy teased him the rest of the weekend about the police coming after him. Poor Gabe! These older kids had a BLAST and you never heard them the whole weekend! Gabe has a couple of skateboards and Austin was begging for one the minute we left their house! Oh... it was soooo hard to leave. Spring Break went way too fast and we have since found another reason to head back up there. Randy is helping put on a Brian Buttars Memorial Golf Tournament in honor of his friend and to benefit both Brian's children and also an athlete at Brian's old high school, Brighton High.
